| Review: I had read the book in seventh grade, and we saw the movie. I though both were great. Francis Ford Coppola has almost every detail of the book adapted for this movie. I thought the acting was great and the plot was good for teenagers, which is the film, like the book, the target audience. I was surprised how many were stars in this film (seven), and it was much better than I thought it would be. It does not seem cheesy and small, but you felt like you were watching a real movie. Although Greasers seem to be born unwanted life watching this movie makes you want to go back to the southwest to 1967 and is a Greaser, too. Great movie and perfect for teenagers. |
