I read some reviews here before you watch it, then scans the next full page and saw almost all 1-star or 1-star-but-wouldve-gave zero-Sta ; rnor, etc. So it is not the highest expectations. Also, I'm not super big on just watch the cars go (especially Ford., I am not so great about fixing my car once every two weeks or) so theres that.i also saw that someone said that the only reason Im looking at it to see Selena Gomez. Well, I have no idea who she is so Id have to say that the assumption was wrong. Name rang a faint bell, but that's about it (apparently she is one of the Disney slaves, or was until recently). After that, I noticed a disturbing amount of material about their sexuality and what not. I saw her age, and I think it was 19 (it was yesterday, and I really do not care, so I could be wrong. Maybe 21). So what the hell, guys? Im only in my late 30s, and I think shes too young. Slightly chubby face, looks like shes still has baby fat. Frickin pedophiles humans. Not surprisingly, most girls are not all exhausted and paranoid about men. As Louis CK said, men number one danger to women (and ours was a heart condition, I think). Anyway, Theres spiel. If you saw it only to the extent some barely legal Disney actress, can a psychologist. And yes, I would not be surprised if it is encouraging that sort of thing. Morality aside, it profitable.Well, such a thing does not really matter, because I doubt that this movie will do much for her career. Do I need it? No, I can not say I did. I was miserable and bored all the time? No, not really. It was not a great movie, but by today's standards, it was good. Fast and the Furious w / out gratuitous / trophies unnecessary shots and gay / Mr. Potato Head Star. I saw Death Race time too. The same basic assumptions: bored and too lazy to find something else to do. Id put them on the same level. Ethan Hawke no complaints. He looks into the windshield, he moves a lot (not that it seems to carry the vehicle's speed at all), and it comes to their roles better than she deserves.Yes, some of it is lame. It reminded me of a James Bond movie where Denise Richards was supposed to be a rocket scientist (although the horns made it physically impossible to use a microscope or see the keyboard or reach 've got). Youre SHE must believe this tough chick who can run fast, is not afraid to go out of her Ghat, and it can crack or whatever they call it. Just do not sell it. They shouldve used the girl who was in Death Race or something. Selena Gomez basically stuck in a movie w / no mercy. I guess she was acting fine. Well, not really. Was pretty bad at times. Just completely miscast.The rest of the movie? Oh, okay. Nothing major, but I took some time to see what the people who voted it down well liked and could not really make any sense of it. Usually, I see reviews BS in favor of the film. But here, theres so universally bad reviews, I have to wonder. On the other hand, that which undermines the film went ahead and did all the work for you anyway? I dunno.The only part that left me in disbelief POV sequence was closer to the end. I do not care how beat up the Mustang was, or that it was made by Ford and therefore doomed to failure: There's no fucking way any SUV can overtake him. And not only that, the SUV had more horsepower and recovered from stops faster. Maybe Ethan Hawke just a crappy driver. Maybe there will be a point movie.Oh, one more thing. I give this movie props for not trying to pretend that it was in the U.S. or something. Ive noticed that a lot of lower budget films will be shot in some of the countries of the Eastern Bloc, I think, incentives and relatively inexpensive comparatively. Second Ghost Rider movie (much worse than the Getaway) comes to mind.Yeah, it was not a good movie. But it was not so bad. |
